Mr. S. M. Nuruzzaman began his professional career in the insurance sector in 1997 by joining Meghna Life Insurance Company Limited while pursuing his studies. He served there until 2000 as Controller (Development) at the Companyganj and Muradnagar offices, carrying out his responsibilities with dedication, efficiency, and professionalism. During the early stage of his career, he gained practical experience in the fundamental structure of the insurance business, administrative operations, development activities, and various aspects of customer service.

Long Professional Journey with Fareast Islami Life Insurance
In 2000, he joined Fareast Islami Life Insurance Company Limited as Assistant Vice President (AVP), taking responsibility for Brahmanbaria District. He subsequently served the organization for nearly a decade in various important positions, including responsibility as In-Charge of the Sylhet and Chattogram geographical divisions, performing his duties with remarkable efficiency, dedication, and success.
During his tenure at Fareast Islami Life Insurance, he made significant contributions to the company's business expansion, administrative management, organizational development, and development activities. In recognition of his professional competence and leadership capabilities, he was entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the Acting Managing Director of the organization.

In 2012, Mr. S. M. Nuruzzaman joined Bayra Life Insurance Company Limited as Deputy Managing Director (Development & Administration). He served in this position until 2013.
